THE BIG 18!

March 21 - vernal equinox, first day of spring

just so happens also to be my birthday

yesterday i turned 18 years old

im freakin old

im a legal adult now...wow i'm definitely not ready

but anyways, yesterday was definitely the best birthday yet

months before my birthday, i promised myself that i would go to morongo when i turned 18

gotta live it up!

so i got $100

and i went with daanish, ohta, joey, and jenn oki

in daanish's PORSCHE cayenne!

what luxury

we looked like such ballers

but the seats were rather uncomfortable; my ass hurt so much on the way home

we get to morongo

and it is so damn nice

no wonder indians arent complaining anymore

ohta and i wanted to play poker first but the blinds were $2/$4 (only the blinds!!) and we were scared some big stack would bully us around and make us lose our money quick

so we went to the blackjack table, where everyones actions are independent of each other

it was so much fun! i love gambling haha (addiction?)

i lost $80 :) but the experience was totally worth it

daanish actually won like $45 so props to him

we went to this $10 buffet there

all the food was meh but it was a good deal, for sure

so kids, when once you turn 18, you should definitely drive to morongo with friends

its a lot of fun

we're driving home, and i get this text from my sister saying "we cant eat together tonight cuz a friend from japan is coming"

wow i was kinda pissed off, my family was gonna ditch me for friends

and since i had no money left, i was set on eating weinerschnitzel for my bday dinner

but daanish said he would treat us all out to sammy's woodfire pizza (wt random?)

but i couldnt complain since he was the driver and the winner

so we get there and i see my sister and my mom randomly sitting at a table nearby

at first i thought it was just coincidence that we came to the same restaurant

but i look over

and theres this hugeass table filled with all my friends!!!

i was so surprised!!!! i had no idea this was coming!!

yes, i was so shocked i seriously couldnt say anything

so i take a seat next to mimi

thinking "wtf is this"

wow such a surprise!!

and i love surprises!!

so we ate, and it was all joyous

and then daanish handed me a birthday present

inside was this D&G watch that i envied and dreamed of having when me and daanish went to bloomingdales a week ago

wow i was so shocked once again

i thought i would only get this once i became rich

i thanked all my friends and gave them each a hug

I AM SO LUCKY AND GRATEFUL TO HAVE SUCH GREAT FRIENDS!!

i was on the verge of tears when i saw all my friends gathered here for me

after that we went to amc and watched "i love you, man"

it was soo funny because the main character is so effin awkward

at times, i couldnt bear how awkward he was cuz it made me feel awkward

mimi saw it the day before so she was just sleeping on me

after, i hung out with mimi cuz i heard she baked me a cake!!

which is pretty damn amazing cuz shes so lazy and she has never baked before

the cake was good!

the frosting was really sweet but the sponge cake part was kinda normal so it blended nicely hahah

i still appreciated the fact that she even made me cake

i was really touched by her efforts

on top of this, she got me shoes from a brand called clae (which i've never heard about but apparently its pretty famous)

she told me to be honest about what i thought about them

i thought they were okay and i felt really bad because i didn't love them

so shes gonna return them and get something else for me

i felt like a total asshole there cuz she was pretty sad :(

but i wanted to let her know that i appreciated the fact that she got me all these gifts

mimi is a wonderful girlfriend

this bday kinda ended with me being a douche but it was still lots of fun!!

i realized that i have really great friends and i love them all dearly <

hello

lets rewind to yesterday

so yesterday was the nhs blood drive
mimi kookoo signed me up so i was SUPER nervous
cuz i had never given blood before
so freakin i get a call slip at 10
and wait an hour and a half (WTF!)
in the mean time, i was talking with daanish and j.oak to release some of this nervousness
but still i was so nervouss
although i laughed when jimmy fainted
so i get called in
and they do this simple test first to see if you're anemic
and prick ur fingertip
then they take u to those chairs
and after waiting a while, they stick that needle thing in u
but IT WASN'T BAD at all
i was in my happy place :)
but it was weird cuz i kept looking at my blood bag
and thought "wow thats all my blood"

after that i felt tired and i took a nap
luckily i had no work today
but it felt good to give blood!
i would next year if i could

today - hoops for hearts
it went well
haha i totally rigged the brackets to favor my team
but we still lost to randy sean nelson josh's team
damn sean nelson randomly making all these shots

overall, team $urlz won - props to them
i hope everyone had fun

there was this rumor goin around that ucla decisions come out today at 4
i believed in it cuz i believe in jason joo...he knows his shit

i totally forgot about it cuz of this tournament

hello, i havent updated in a while

last wed was me and mimis 3 months!

she has put up with me for 3 months...well done..

anyways, next weekend is my bday and i am stoked to go to morongo!!

yesterday, we played poker and even tho i was rusty, i felt that i could do a good job at morongo (although we're prollie only gonna play blackjack)

nonetheless, i am excited to WIN money and not lose it ahaha

today, i am going to thehundreds store to buy their black johnson lows ($64)

excited for that too =)

i might go to the beach? it's like the perfect weather actually and i love the beach~

today was the west asb mixer and i must say, we did a fabulous job; props to the entire asb especially tori for putting this together! i'm confident all the schools, in fact every person, in there had lots of fun.

I thoroughly enjoy dressing up as a tourist, i think i pulled it off well! but i pull everything off so...
and our dance, although we kinda messed up, i still had fun out there
CAMS was surprisingly good at dancing - how ironic

i go to starbucks for some classic caramel frap at 9:30 PM
i get home, and remember i said that i bought new sunglasses from 9Five..

thurs - i went to work but my services were not needed
